Notice of monthly generator testing

What is being done and why?

Brief electrical shutdowns are scheduled so that monthly testing can be done on life safety generators. To learn more about why F&S does monthly generator tests, visit our emergency generator resource page.

How will it impact building occupants?

    • All receptacles, lighting, and equipment that are connected to emergency power will be shut down twice for up to 15 seconds each time.
    • The first outage is estimated to take place at 7:30 AM. The second outage is estimated to take place between 8:30 AM and 9 AM.
    • Receptacles, lighting, and equipment that are connected to normal power will not be affected
    • In addition, the following specific equipment and/or areas that are connected to emergency power will be impacted:
