What is being done and why?
Brief electrical shutdowns are scheduled so that monthly testing can be done on life safety generators. To learn more about why F&S does monthly generator tests, visit our emergency generator resource page.
How will it impact building occupants?
- All receptacles, lighting and equipment that are connected to emergency power will be shut down twice for up to 15 seconds each time.
- The first outage is estimated to take place at 7 AM. The second outage is estimated to take place between 8 AM and 8:30 AM.
- Receptacles, lighting, and equipment that are connected to normal power will not be affected.
- In addition, the following specific equipment and/or areas that are connected to emergency power will be impacted:
