What is being done and why?
The Monthly UPS Test is conducted to ensure that our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems are functioning optimally. The UPS plays a critical role in providing backup power during unexpected electrical outages, safeguarding our operations and preventing potential data loss or disruption to essential services.
Please note, this is NOT an electrical shutdown, it is a monthly UPS (uninterrupted power supply) test as per code requirements.
How will it impact building occupants?
- There should be no interruption unless the equipment is not functioning correctly, in the rare occasion this occurs, normal power will be restored immediately.According to the panel schedule, the following equipment listed below MAY experience a 15 second loss of power at 7:30am and again between 8:00am – 8:30am.
– All Emergency / Exit Lighting
– Fire Alarm
